Spanish indie publisher, BlitWorks, has announced that arcade-racer, Slipstream, the passion project of Brazilian solo developer ansdor is now on Xbox, PlayStation 4|5, and Nintendo Switch consoles with a price tag of 8.99 EUR|GBP, or 9.99 USD.
Slipstream recreates the sprite scaling graphic techniques used on the 80s and 90s racing games to bring an authentic retro experience to modern hardware, taking advantage of the extra power to provide smooth, constant 60 FPS gameplay.
The game offers up to 4 players of split-screen multiplayer and adds a unique mix of modern mechanics and accessibility options to the classic formula, such as time rewinding, drifting, slipstream, and game speed adjustment.

Cannonball: Freely customizable race mode with optional traffic, rivals, and other racers.

Time Trial, a solo race against time.
Battle Royale, an elimination endurance race mode.
