SEEKERS OF SKYVEIL
In a genre dominated by first-person shooters and grim-dark military sims, Seekers of Skyveil brings a fresh take to the extraction lineup. With gameplay that’s easy to learn and hard to master, it offers an approachable entry to a genre that’s often intentionally opaque without sacrificing the depth needed for players to invest countless hours in the experience.
Drawing inspiration from MOBAs, battle royales, and hero shooters, Seekers of Skyveil favors fast-paced action over the volatile, inconsistent combat pacing often found in other extraction games.
At the center of the action are the Seekers, heroes with unique aesthetics, playstyles, and personalities. Play as a tanky living tree, joyful bunny-girl healer, artistic ice mage, and more.
With the upcoming introduction of Strix–a deadly owl archer with sniper-like range and high attack damage–there’s a roster of 9 diverse Seekers to choose from, with more to come throughout Closed Beta.
In each match, you’ll squad up in groups of three (or solos or duos, if you’re feeling brave) and battle your way through creatures, bosses, and enemy players in search of items and relics.
Make sure you make it out alive if you want to keep your loot! If you lose some items, don’t worry–head over to the vendors to spend your hard-earned coins to buy new items, then you’re back in the action.
With two maps already available and a third coming at the start of Closed Beta, Seekers of Skyveil has options so you can play your way. Find your feet and relax in the lower stakes “capped” map. Then jump onto the “uncapped” map, with more to explore, unique bosses to defeat, and 24 players vying for loot.
And when you’re ready to test your skills against the strongest players, jump onto the upcoming “high stakes” map, where you’ll face the biggest challenges and reap the best rewards.
