Here is one PS4 exclusive title which many would have not remembered all this while. After all, there was very little if not any new updates were revealed ever since it was announced two years ago at Sony’s PlayStation Media Showcase at Paris Games Week 2017. Finally the Creative Director of PixelOpus, Dominic Robilliard has revealed updates as well as a confirmed launch date for Concrete Genie.
In case anyone has forgotten about the game, it revolves around a young boy named Ash in a town of Denska. He has a knack of doodling in his notebook and one day a group of bullies decided to rip all of the pages from his notebook. Thus this begins Ash’s journey in search of this pages and from there on he discovers that is able to bring his arts into larger than life creations.
The recently released trailer showcases updates which include different abilities that Ash can utilize, one of it being ‘Paint Skating‘ which sees Ash riding on his large brush to move around his surroundings. Another tidbit news from the Creative Director is that pre-orders are now open however, for the time being it is only for the US and EU region. Furthermore, there will be the Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition which will be going for $29.99 USD and $39.99 USD respectively. The Deluxe Edition will include Digital Sountrack, Digital Artbook, Pond Design Pack and a Lighthouse Dynamic Theme. There will also be two VR Modes will be available for both editions. In addition, a photo mode will be made available on launch which features a time-lapse style ‘Replay’ that allows further creativity flair to be shown.
Concrete Genie will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 4 this 8th of October 2019.
