[PS Plus] Remember To Add FOAMSTARS To Your Library Before March 4 To Keep It For Free

Square Enix’s latest 4v4 foam party shooter game, FOAMSTARS, is now accessible to PlayStation Plus [PS Plus] members at no additional cost until March 4th. This release marks the game’s debut exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms.

Subscribers to PS Plus can add the game to their library during this promotional period and retain access as long as their subscription remains active. Miss this window, and you’ll need to fork out $29.99 from March 5 onwards to own the game (that is if you want it).

The game’s inaugural season, titled “Starry Pop,” commences today, introducing players to a variety of competitive and casual gaming modes. The season features Ranked Party events for both solo and team play, special themed challenges like the All Mel T Party and the Invisible Party, and a relaxed weekend event known as Happy FriYAY Party where players can preview the upcoming character, Coiff Guy.

FOAMSTARS plans to roll out free seasonal updates throughout the year, with each season lasting approximately five weeks. These updates will include new characters, maps, events, and cosmetic items.

Players can progress through each season by earning experience points to unlock rewards. While all players can enjoy the new content, a Premium Season Pass is available for $5.99, offering immediate access to new characters and exclusive cosmetics.

FORMSTARS is now available for free on the PS Plus for PS4 and PS5 players. Remember, add it to your library before March 4 to keep the game for free.

After the promotional period, FOAMSTARS will be available for purchase at $29.99 starting March 5, 2024, on the PlayStation Store. A PlayStation Plus subscription is required to play.
