And for the month of June, we will get Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania.
So what do we get?
That’s a total of 33 free games that we’ve received in a span of 12 months. Given that some of them aren’t “AAA titles” but nonetheless we’re still getting it for free – on top of the multiplayer services that we’re subscribing for. And let’s not forget the Chinese New Year PS Plus 12-Month Membership + 3-Month bonus offer which makes that a total of 15 months worth of free games!
If we’re to include the cloud storage services, and the other PS Plus exclusive add-ons and themes, awesome games such as Warframe and Apex Legends that remain free throughout our subscription period – we’re really getting a lot for a small sum of RM 10.75 a month.
So is it too much to pay a fee of RM 13.25 a month for all that starting from August? I don’t think so. But if you’re really worried about the price hike, PS Plus will be going a 30% discount during Days of Play. Days of Play will be running for 10 days, starting from the 7th of June.
