Pixel action survival game Zhelter debuts a Kickstarter Trailer

Certain indie games do catch my attention in terms of the fluid pixelated presentation and in this case, Zhelter by Korean indie developer G1 Playground, shows off some good bits of shooting action, gathering resources, farming, and crafting in a cute cruel world. Like playing Harvest Moon but in a survival apocalypse with a fast-paced action shooting against zombies on steroids, this sentence alone sends me chills down the spine.

    Can you survive the nightmare?

Zhelter is all about surviving a Zombie apocalypse by scraping parts to build and saving survivors along the way. As you lose your precious family and friends to the outbreak of a Zombie apocalypse, you were saved and found by a new group that accepts you as the family themselves and protecting them is the least you can do.

    Key survival features

    • 24-hours and weather systems– Enjoy some beautiful soothing ambience of pixelated hanging day-cycle and a variety of weather.
    • Gather/loot various resources from the ruined city to live for another day.
    • Collected resources could be used for crafting for items such as tools, fences and many more.
    • Get into intense run and gun with fluid fast-paced animation with your selected weapons.
    • Face many different types of Zombies including bosses
    • Save and gather new survivors as companions which will boost your contribution to make a stronger and efficient shelter.
    • Set up a farm too as an alternative source of rewarding resources.
    • Explore the open-world.
    • Enjoy some art pixel-art graphics in a unique style
    • Creative sound designer Syadeu is directing our project. Here is his song sample of the game in this link provided.

The game is still under development with an ongoing Kickstarter as well for the PC release for the time being.

He is actually very shy, introvert but no choice, have to go out to buy games. He likes food and food likes him. He somehow manage to find a job with the right time accommodate to gaming. He has a very short attention span, therefore has to finish a game fast or else a simple pun can distract him for the entire day. Yes a Pun, he loves puns as much as he loves games; easily distracted, whichever comes next.
