Old School Action Platformer Super Alloy Ranger Is Out Now On Steam

Gamera Game and indie developer Alloy Mushroom has announced the release of Super Alloy Ranger, a classic 2D platformer now available on Steam. In this space fantasy adventure, players will become interstellar rangers that end up trapped on a deserted planet conquered by the Machine Empire. Far from escaping, they will have to venture into this dangerous place to find out what’s causing this mechanical army to self-evolve and stop the culprit behind so much chaos.

Super Alloy Ranger consists of several challenging levels that players must overcome by mastering actions like running, jumping, dashing, dodging, and climbing. In addition, you will face tons of dangerous enemies trying to mincemeat out of you. Both characters available, Ranger Kelly and Combat Robot nº 2, have their own combat skills, and they can be leveled up with Attribute chips. The stronger you become, the easier it will be to face common enemies — and, of course, the terrific bosses you’ll find level after level!

    Features:
    • Get into the shoes of a Kelly or Combat Robot nº 2 through a wide set of savage moves that will allow you to reach any area and get rid of your enemies in seconds. Combine them all to get the most efficient result and find your own style of play as you progress in the game.
    • Challenge gigantic boss enemies in dangerous barrages. We are sure they will bring back many good memories of games like Mega Man, Metal Slug, and Contra.
    • Scroll through the different scenarios vertically and horizontally to progress with the level, just as in classic games of the genre.
    • Feel like a real adventurer as you explore the many hidden pathways of planet Tanwada.
    • Delight yourself with its fun, exquisite, and ultra-detailed pixel animations.
