Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja features their producer Fumihiko Yasuda in demonstrating some tips for playing Nioh 2. Check out the video below:

Key Yokai features:
- Use Sacred Water in difficult terrains such as swamp ground.
- New weapons introduce, Switchglaive and throwable Hatchets.
- Use guns or bows to take out far yokai patrol.
- New Pet creature name Scampuss, which will periodically restore your anima for your Yokai transformation.
- Yokai is able to transform the area into the Dark Realm, making them stronger however you are able to transform as well to reap the same benefits.
- Runaway is an option too if faced against a difficult enemy
- Blue ochoko on dead players is to summon them as allies
- Fight in a revamped combat mechanic built on top of previous fan-favorite elements of Nioh.
- Sharpen your concentration and wield weapons including swords and hatchets, or merely fill the Amrita gauge to transform into a Yokai with a variety of mighty attacks.
- In Yokai form, you are buffed beyond limits in terms of stats of various weapons that may stagger or even grapple downed foes.
- Call upon or join other players to aid in combat.
