Bear in mind, at this point everything is only on ‘rumour basis’ but the indication did come from a reliable insider source who goes by the name Shinobi602 – that there’d be some forms of a reveal on the new Assassin’s Creed game on next-gen consoles, namely the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The source has revealed on the popular gaming forum Resetera when responding to a question by another forum user enquiring on his knowledge if there was an upcoming showcase of the new Viking themed Assassin’s Creed game happening today, in which he simply answered “Yes”.
Again, although the source is known to be reliable from his past contributions, nothing is certain yet at this point. Will there really be a new Assassin’s Creed game reveal today? And on the next-gen consoles no less? We’ll see.
