Capcom has released a Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Developer Diary #1 video the reveal more information regarding the game.

The new Seliana home base in Hoarfrost Reach will be more centralized facilities and features such as smithy, resource centre, botanical research is built in one close proximity for hunters conveniently manage all pre-hunt necessities.
Hunter’s “My Room” is also accessible and features new customization options such as furniture, decor, and colour.
For deluxe edition, hunters will have a special decoration for the room which will let hunters deco the room become more medieval feel. Also, the new gathering hub is built around hot spring, hunters can enjoy the hot bath with palico as well as other fellow hunters.
Difficulty scaling now will adapt for the two-player team if others have dropped out of the team.
The furry sidekicks palico will have new and upgraded gadgets to equip such as “Shieldspire Stooge”, a mobile decoy that draws a monster’s attention away from the hunters, Meowcano, a giant jar that shoots out fireballs at enemies and Enhanced Vigorwasp which can revive players immediately back into battle if they faint.
