Meet parody Minimal Affect, a Hilarious Space Adventure with a Crew of Cosmic Misfits

Go boldly into absurdity! Enad Global 7 (EG7) has announced that Minimal Affect, a comical sci-fi action RPG parody of Mass Effect packed with heroics and humour developed by Toadman Studios, is coming to most major consoles and Windows PC in 2021. Created by an experienced team of longtime sci-fi fanatics, the title is a love letter to a wildly popular entertainment genre and aims to deliver an authentic, but unexpected, “space epic” with a diverse crew of dubious characters.

Minimal Affect is our homage to some of the greatest sci-fi RPGs, movies, and shows that we absolutely love – While the story is ridiculous, the gameplay certainly is not – this is a fully fledged action-RPG created in the art-style of adult animation you know and love. It’s a super galactic tale of space adventure, comedy, and questionable morality.”

Rasmus Davidsson, Creative Director on Minimal Affect

Minimal Affect is a story-driven space adventure with a colourful cast of characters on a quest to save the galaxy once again and get into a LOT of space alien combat. Guide your team, meet new characters, learn new skills, explore side quests, and generally do everything you’d expect to do in a third-person action RPG, all set in a vibrant, stylish world that feels like playing a cartoon.

Developed by Toadman Studios and published by Sold Out– both companies in the EG7 group, Minimal Affect will launch in North America and Europe in 2021. The title will be available on most major consoles and Windows PC at launch, with more platform details to be revealed at a later date.
