The new Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter lets players assemble an ever-evolving all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains battling with unique powers across a dynamic lineup of destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse.
Marvel Rivals invited players into the compelling narrative set within the Marvel Universe, where heroes and villains unite against a looming cosmic threat.
The newly released story trailer showcased the rich, immersive storyline and teased significant plot twists that players will unravel as they progress through the game.
The closed beta for Marvel Rivals is running now through August 5th for all platforms including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox, and features full cross-play across regions.
At a special presentation for Marvel Games, it was unveiled that both Thor and Jeff the Land Shark will also be joining the Closed Beta as playable characters on July 27th.
Thor, the God of Thunder, brings his powerful hammer and lightning abilities, while Jeff the Land Shark, adds his own unique charm and ferocity to the game.
Additionally, the Marvel Rivals team unveiled their musical and voiceover talent. Their music team includes industry veterans Shota Nakama, founder of Video Games Orchestra, and legendary guitarist Godspeed.
The star-studded voice cast includes Cassandra Lee Morris (Persona 5’s Morgana) as Galacta, Troy Baker as Loki, Nolan North as Rocket Racoon, Yuri Lowenthal as Spider-Man, and Mara Junot as Storm.
