Wizards of the Coasts have announced the launch of Streets of New Capenna (SNC) to be scheduled for the 29th of April 2022. Streets of New Capenna is an Art Deco Noir themed expansion, with the storyline featuring five crime families vying for supremacy in a mafia-esque style.
Players in Southeast Asia will also have the privilege to own 6 exclusive Family Treasure Tokens which are illustrated by SEA artists. These tokens are of a single limited print run and they’re only available through collector booster boxes.
Two of the 6 featured Family Treasure Tokens are illustrated by our fellow Malaysian, Chong Fei Giap. For those who are unfamiliar, Fei Giap is an artist known for his illustration of cityscapes in Malaysia. He is also the Co-Founder and Creative Director of the creative brand Loka Made.
Streets of New Capenna will be available as Draft Boosters, Set Boosters, and Collector Boosters, with factionalised Theme Boosters and Commander Decks for the player’s crime family of choice. Head over to your closest local game store to register for the pre-release events in the coming weekend.
