Resident Evil 3 which was release 2 weeks ago had some mixed reviews although we thought it was solid. The game was also shipped along with Resistance which is the game’s multiplayer mode. While the main campaign may seemed light in content, Capcom promises to have a slew content coming in for Resistance from April towards July onwards.
The first of the updates has arrived today and Jill will be joining the cast of Resistance. As a former S.T.A.R.S. member, Jill comes with skills that will make her a strong addition to the Resistance cast.
Her first skill is called the Samurai Edge. It allows her to switch to her signature handgun which has high accuracy and massive damage. On top of that it has the ability to knock back zombies. The next skill of hers, Evade as the name suggest, allows Jill to swiftly dodge enemy attacks. This happens to be the same dodge that can be used in the main game.
As mentioned earlier, Capcom has laid out the roadmap of content for their multiplayer mode. On the following month, Nicholai Gonivaef will be joining in as a new Mastermind. It will be interesting how he will play out in comparison to Annete.
Capcom seems to be putting a lot of effort in giving more replay value towards their latest Resident Evil game and it seems very promising. We are definitely looking forward to see what they have in mind for the month of June.
