    Infinix Esports Tournament Returns for Season 3, Powered by GT 20 Pro and University Talent in Malaysia

    Infinix has announced the return of its Esports Tournament for a third season, this time in partnership with Honor of Kings and MediaTek. The tournament, featuring a RM 10,000 prize pool, is set to bring together esports teams from eight Malaysian universities, providing a platform for emerging talent in the country’s competitive gaming scene.

    The tournament will kick off with online qualifiers from November 18 to 21, streamed on Infinix and Honor of Kings’ official TikTok and Facebook channels. The final playoffs are scheduled for December 17, where university teams will battle for the championship title.

    The Infinix GT 20 Pro, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 4nm 5G processor and featuring Pixelworks X5 Turbo gaming display technology, is at the heart of this event. The device is designed for high-performance gaming, with a high-refresh-rate display and a long-lasting battery, making it a strong choice for both amateur and competitive players.

    University Participation and Tournament Structure

    Eight university esports clubs will each field two teams, making a total of 16 teams for the qualifiers. The top four teams will progress to the final playoffs in December. Participating universities include;

    Infinix’s involvement with university esports clubs reflects a commitment to supporting Malaysian youth in esports. “Esports goes beyond gaming; it’s about fostering skills in teamwork and strategic thinking,” said Wai Kiat Hong, Marketing Director of Infinix Malaysia. “This tournament offers a platform for youth empowerment and aims to encourage young talent to reach new heights in esports.”

    Supporting Malaysia’s Esports Ecosystem

    Infinix has also partnered with Honor of Kings and MediaTek to establish a game research laboratory aimed at enhancing mobile gaming technology, exploring AI-powered gaming innovations, and optimizing performance for players in emerging markets.

    For fans of Honor of Kings and aspiring esports players, the online qualifiers will be broadcast live on Infinix and Honor of Kings’ official social media channels, offering viewers a front-row seat to the latest in university-level esports in Malaysia.

    The Infinix GT 20 Pro, available in Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver, is priced at RM 1,299. The device can be purchased through Infinix’s official stores on platforms like Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, or through Infinix’s authorised dealers.
