3) Pokémon Sleep
Based on how Pokémon GO inspired people around the world to have fun with the everyday activity of walking, the next challenge for Pokémon games is to refresh the activity of sleeping. Pokémon Sleep is slated to launch worldwide in the summer of 2023, available for most smartphones or an upcoming Pokémon GO Plus + device (scheduled to launch July 14th, 2023).
In the app, your adventure begins on a small island, together with a large Snorlax who lives on the island, and Neroli, a professor studying Pokémon’s sleep styles, you’ll carry out research into how Pokémon to sleep. You may even discover a Pokémon sleeping in a rare style you’d hardly ever get to see. Each Pokémon has a number of different sleep styles, so discover lots of them by getting a good night’s sleep. Watch the Official Pokémon Sleep Explainer video below.
4) Pokémon GO Plus +
Pokémon GO Plus + is a new device that uses Bluetooth Low Energy technology to link with smartphone apps for use in gameplay. Its standout feature is its sleep-tracking functionality. Pokémon GO Plus + can pair with Pokémon GO, just like Pokémon GO Plus (released in 2016) and Poké Ball Plus (released in 2018). Additionally, it will give you an even handier way to play your Pokémon GO game as you’ll be able to search for Pokémon without checking your smartphone and enjoy adventuring at your own pace with even more flexible gameplay in Pokémon GO.
5) Meet Walking Wake and Iron Leaves, Newly Discovered Paradox Pokémon Appearing in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
From now until Monday, March 13th, 8:59 a.m. Japan Standard Time, trainers can challenge Walking Wake in Pokémon Scarlet and Iron Leaves in Pokémon Violet in this limited-time Tera Raid Battle Event.
6) Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet integration with Pokémon GO
Trainers in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet can now connect their games to Pokémon GO to receive Gimmighoul Coins and other items, as well as gain the opportunity to catch Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon GO!
