Sony Interactive Entertainment Singapore Private Limited (SIES) has announced that the PlayStation 4 software “Erica” will be released on the PlayStation Store today, August 20, 2019. The suggested retail price of the Standard Digital Edition is MYR 39.
What is Erica?
Created by Flavourworks, Erica is an interactive live-action thriller, where players must consciously choose the actions taken by the namesake protagonist, defining her story.
- Pioneering live-action technology: Erica allows players to immerse themselves in the live-action video and make tactile choices through physical touch, offering a seamlessly flowing experience.
- Interactive storytelling: Within the branching narrative, every choice has a profound effect on what the player will see next, with frequent decisions allowing continuous interaction.
- Innovative: The use of mobile devices as controllers not only removes barriers to entry, but also allow players the full use of their devices’ touchscreen capabilities, to swipe, pinch, drag, and tilt what they see in front of them.
