Cute but creepy Beacon Pines reaches goal and going for full-on release

Indie developer Hiding Spots will be bringing in their latest creation, Beacon Pines, to Steam and Switch. Initially started as a Kickstarter project and now it has been finally funded and ready for full release.

Beacon Pines is a cute and creepy adventure game within a magical storybook. You play as both the reader of the book and its main character, Luka. Explore the town to find word charms. Use your charms to change the course of fate!

The game initially started out as a rhythm-based RPG. However, the developers have been slowly molding the game over several years until it became what it is now.

The game features an explorable illustrated mountain town to collect word charms. These word chams will alter the story and also allow you to make friends with other characters.

While the game has reached its pledged goal of $30,000 – now at 52,819 as of now, you still can donate further in order for the developer to be able to have more reach to shape up the game even further. The Kickstarted fund ends this March 5th.

The developer also has yet to announce when will it be coming to the Playstation and Xbox consoles.
