Continue The Fight For Survival With Dragon Ball: The Breakers Season 2 Launching Now

Bandai Namco Entertainment announced the release of Season 2 content for DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS, the asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits seven-player “Survivors” against a player-controlled iconic DRAGON BALL “Raider.” The Season 2 update introduces Vegeta as a ferocious new Raider featuring three distinct forms, each with an accompanying arsenal of attacks. The update also adds the “Rocky Field” map along with new Survivor skills and a Dragon Tier to unlock all-new customizations. DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via STEAM, and is compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. More information on the game is available here.

Season 2 of DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS introduces Vegeta, the Saiyan Prince, as its latest Raider. Like all Raiders, Vegeta can evolve through during each match, growing his power and arsenal with each transformation.

    • First Form: Saibaman – As the Raider, players start the match as one of many Saibaman on the map where they can switch control between each. They can evolve by having their HP reach zero or by using the “self-destruct” skill on a Survivor.
    • Second form: Nappa – Nappa can evolve by defeating civilians and injuring Survivors. He can also plant Saibaman to ambush players and use a Scouter to highlight nearby Survivors. If Nappa fills his evolution energy, or if he is defeated by Survivors, he can evolve to Vegeta.

    • Third form: Vegeta – Vegeta gives players abilities such as using a Scouter to highlight nearby Survivors or “Call Nappa” skill to search for Survivors if he was not previously defeated. Players can transform from Vegeta into the Great Ape – this Raider’s fourth and final form – in two ways. They can create a Power Ball, an energy sphere used by Saiyans that mimics the full moon. They can also gather all seven Dragon Balls to summon Shenron, who will then create a full moon enabling them to transform.
    • Fourth form: Great Ape – Vegeta’s final form as the Great Ape is the most powerful Raider in the game, giving players devastating attacks and a wide range of moves. He is also invulnerable to attacks anywhere except his one weakness – his tail.

DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS Season 2 adds “Rocky Field,” an all-new map featuring the iconic Korin Tower, along with a new Dragon Tier where players can earn new skins by unlocking ranks. Survivors get two new Transphere skills with Instant Transmission, which lets players find allies and reach them instantly, and Ki Control, which reduces how long the Ki effect lasts when caught while hiding from a Raider. New skins available based on classic DRAGON BALL characters include Chi-chi, Yajirobe, and King Furry. King Furry can be acquired by progressing through the Dragon Tier, while the Raider, Survivor skins, customization items, and Transphere skills can be acquired by using TP Tokens in the in-game shop.

DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that pits seven Survivors, regular civilians trapped in a “Temporal Seam”, against a Raider, one of the famous rivals from the DRAGON BALL universe. The Survivors will have to team up to be able to escape their foe and come back to the safety of their world and timeline. The game shares the same universe as DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE and contains features that link DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 and DRAGON BALL: THE BREAKERS.
