PlayStation has released a blog post giving players more details about Concord’s Early Beta Access this weekend. There will also be an open beta for the game the following week.
Concord Beta Early Access (July 12 – 14) and Open Beta (July 18 – 21)
Concord’s Beta Early Access for PlayStation and PC will begin tomorrow 13 July at 4 am (GMT+8) and PS5 owners can pre-download the Concord Beta now (But I cannot find the option to pre-download on my PS5 yet).
Players who have to pre-order any edition of the game will receive access to the Beta Early Access weekend together with 4 invite codes to share with their friends. The codes will only work for the same platform you pre-order on. Take note that for PC users, a PlayStation account will be required to play.
On the PlayStation side, all PlayStation Plus members are invited to the Beta Early Access no matter what PSN Plus plan you have. An Open Beta will begin next week 19 July 4 am (GMT+8) with pre-download for the PS5 starting on 18 July at 4 am (GMT+8)

During the Early Access and Open Beta, all 16 of the launch Freegunners will be unlocked and available to pla
y and customize. Whether you want to snipe from afar, lock down an area, provide support for your teammates, or… just dive head-first into the fight, the roster of Freegunners has something for everyone.
There will be a total of three modes – Clash Point, Trophy Hunt and Cargo Run available to play during the Beta Early Access weekend. There will also be four maps which are: Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard and Shock Risk.
Next week when the game enters the Open Beta, a new mode, Area Control and a new map, Bone Mines, will be added.
Beta Rewards
Players who join the Beta Early Access will carry forward their progression to the Open Beta weekend but any progression during both Betas will not carry forward to the game’s official launch on 23 August.
Players who participate in any of the Beta will be receiving goodies of a Frog Weapon Charm (Frog, stands for “From Orbit to Ground”, and is the name of the Northstar’s drop ship, not a literal frog, everyone’s favorite amphibian), a Star Flare Icon and Business Card.
Beta PC specs and features
The Concord Beta Early Access weekend and Open Beta weekend will support cross-play so you can play with your friends across both PS5 and PC. For players on PC, here is the system specifications and just some of the supported features for the Concord Beta on PC:

Concord is a first-person hero shooter game from Firewalk Studios which is comprised of former Bungie and Activision alumni who previously worked on Bungie’s Destiny game. Concord is set to be released on 23 August 2024 for the PlayStation 5 and PC.
