First launched in 2003, the Call of Duty franchise celebrated its 20th anniversary on 29 October 2023.
Whether you started playing Call of Duty in 2003 or anticipating the upcoming Modern Warfare III on 10th November, Activision’s Studio partners and development team would like to celebrate this major milestone in Call of Duty’s history. Activision would also like to extend a heartful thank you to all past and present partners especially the Call of Duty community.
Looking forward, on top of the upcoming Modern Warfare III, a few months later in Spring 2024, prepare to join 45 million fans who have already pre-registered for the Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and prepare to be air-dropped into two recreated Battle Royale maps – Verdansk and Rebirth Island, along with shared progression and Battle Pass integration with Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone with an authentic multiplayer experience including maps like Shipment and Shoot House to complement the Battle Royale.
With that said, Activision and its partners would like to thank everyone on this 20th Anniversary and hope to have another 20 years of Call of Duty.
