Fans have been digging and it was indicated that Epsilon was one of the original names BioWare was considering for the series before landing on Mass Effect. Epsilon is also the fifth numeral in Greek which would hint at Mass Effect 5.

While this is nothing new as BioWare has been teasing Mass Effect 5 for quite some time, with the recent laying off of workings, it seems that Mass Effect 5 will happen and we will be looking forward to any news about it in the future.
