ASUS Republic of Gamers And MOONTON Announce Two-Year Strategic Partnership For Unparalleled ROG Phone Mobile Gaming Experience

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has penned a two-year partnership with international gaming developer and publisher MOONTON Games, a move aimed at enhancing the gaming experience of users across the globe and optimizing the performance of the ROG Phone series for tournament usage.

The ROG Phone team has been working closely with MOONTON since 2022 for the Malaysia Professional League. Building on the confidence established throughout the year, they are maintaining the momentum and now expanding beyond regional boundaries to a global scale. This expansion includes four Mobile Legends: Bang Bang international esports tournaments: the Southeast Asia Cup 2023 and 2024, and the M-Series World Championships M5 and M6. This partnership aims to elevate esports, providing gamers with top-tier content and a game-winning experience.

“It brings us great pleasure to engage in a collaborative endeavor alongside ROG, aiming to elevate the realm of esports and gaming for all individuals. This alliance promises to provide MLBB gamers with an unparalleled avenue through which they can indulge in the finest forms of esports and gaming content consumption.”

In anticipation of the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023, ROG will preload the MLBB application on the ROG Phone 7 series. Additionally, the MLBB theme pack will also be available. This will enable fans to gain better access to the game on the latest ROG Phone and celebrate the event together with an MLBB-themed interface setup.

“At ROG, we develop every ROG Phone with an unwavering focus on performance, power efficiency, and delivering an immersive gaming experience.”
“We aim to provide phones with cutting-edge features that enhance the MLBB gaming experience and take esports tournaments to the next level.”

Shawn Chang – ASUS Global Sales and Marketing Director of Phone Business Unit

The ROG Phone 7 Series showcases game-winning features, including the powerhouse Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform. This platform, coupled with the advanced GameCool 7 thermal system and special ROG tuning, provides a truly breathtaking mobile gaming experience while maintaining impressively low power consumption. The ROG Phone 7 series also ensures an immersive gaming experience, offering a 165 Hz refresh rate and a newly built-in subwoofer in the AeroActive Cooler 7, delivering 2.1-channel sound.

The first event to be partnered with ROG is MSC 2023, which will take place in June in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, for the first time. MSC 2023 will make history with the inclusion of new teams outside Southeast Asia namely North America, MENA (Middle East and North Africa), and Turkey.

Kelvin is the Chinese William Shakespeare of video games, whatever he says or do is never straight to the point. You are in a furious gunfight with an enemy faction and you need more ammo, expect Kelvin to recite a poem or two first before finally realizing you are half-dead, surrounded, helpless, disappointed, the list can go on really.
