Smartphone maker, nubia, has announced the open sale date of December 25, 2023, for its nubia Z60 Ultra in Malaysia. This new model is a notable addition to Nubia’s lineup, featuring advanced photography capabilities and innovative display technology.
The nubia Z60 Ultra is equipped with the NeoVision photography system, which includes three main cameras that push the boundaries of mobile photography. Among these is an 18mm Ultra Wide Starry Sky camera, a 35mm precision master camera, and an 85mm telephoto explorer camera. This setup aims to provide a versatile photographic experience suitable for a variety of scenarios.
The device also features a fifth-generation flexible under-display camera technology. This technology allows for a full-screen display without compromising selfie quality, thanks to improvements in display vibrancy and colour accuracy.
Ni Fei, Chairman of Nubia, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation, particularly in screen and photography technology. The nubia Z60 Ultra is a testament to this focus, with its combination of advanced display and camera features.
In terms of durability and performance, the nubia Z60 Ultra is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 chipset. It also includes a 6000mAh battery and operates on the MyOS 14 system, making it a robust option for demanding users.
The camera system of the nubia Z60 Ultra offers advanced optical image stabilization and high-definition optics across its three cameras. The device’s computational photography capabilities further enhance its performance in various lighting conditions, especially in astrophotography.
The under-display camera technology has been significantly upgraded, providing clearer and more refined display qualities. The device’s screen itself is a 6.8-inch AMOLED display, offering high resolution and wide colour gamut coverage.
Performance-wise, the nubia Z60 Ultra sets a new benchmark with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and large battery capacity. It also offers enhanced gaming experiences with a high screen refresh rate and touch sampling rate, along with AI frame-sensing technology for optimized gaming performance.
The design of the nubia Z60 Ultra is inspired by the isomorphic universe, extending the imaging module area to the edge of the phone for a unique visual experience. The phone is available in two colours, Black and Silver, with Silver being available later in January.
Come December 25 this year, the phone will be available exclusively on Lazada Flagship Store. If you catch the early bird discount, you could get the phone at a discount of up to RM 800. The promotion runs till January 24 next year.
