Apple Launches MacBook Air With M3 Chip

Apple has recently unveiled its latest innovation in the MacBook Air lineup, introducing new 13- and 15-inch models powered by the advanced M3 chip. Launched in Cupertino, California, these new MacBook Air models are set to redefine the standards of laptop performance and portability.

The M3 chip, built on cutting-edge 3-nanometer technology, propels the MacBook Air to new heights, offering a performance boost of up to 60% over its M1 predecessor and outpacing the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air by up to 13 times.

This significant upgrade in processing power is complemented by an enhanced Neural Engine, solidifying the MacBook Air’s position as the premier consumer laptop for AI applications.

Both the 13- and 15-inch models boast a remarkably thin and light design, without compromising on durability, thanks to their sturdy aluminium unibody enclosures. With up to 18 hours of battery life, these laptops are designed for all-day use, making them ideal for a wide range of users, from students to professionals.

The MacBook Air also features a stunning Liquid Retina display, offering vivid colours and sharp details for an immersive viewing experience.

One of the notable enhancements in the new MacBook Air models is the support for up to two external displays, providing users with expanded screen real estate for multitasking and productivity. Additionally, the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6E ensures internet speeds that are up to twice as fast as the previous generation, further enhancing the user experience.

Apple’s commitment to environmental sustainability is evident in the construction of the new MacBook Air, which utilizes 50% recycled content, including 100% recycled aluminium in the enclosure. This initiative is part of Apple’s broader goal to become carbon neutral across its entire manufacturing supply chain and product lifecycle by 2030.

The new MacBook Air models are available in four elegant finishes: midnight, starlight, space grey, and silver, allowing users to choose a style that best suits their personal taste.

With prices starting at RM5,199 for the 13-inch model and RM6,199 for the 15-inch model, the MacBook Air continues to offer exceptional value, combining powerful performance with unmatched portability and style.
