TODAK has dominated the competition for this season’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Malaysia! Held at Quill City Mall with cheering spectators rooting for both teams. TODAK came off victorious in a best-of-seven (BO7) series against Orange Esports, ending their Cinderella dream and finally putting the infamous MPL Malaysia “curse” to an end, making history as the first-ever MPL MY team to win the championship twice.

During the Regular Season, Orange Esports was not faring well compared to other teams. Their fortunes took a turn during the Playoffs, with them mostly scoring a clean sweep that surprised many MPL MY fans.
Both TODAK and Orange Esports will be representing Malaysia at MSC 2022, held in Kuala Lumpur between 11 – 19 June 2022. This marks the first time that the country plays host to the regional tournament and the first time that Orange Esports has participated in MSC 2022.

MPL Malaysia has also collaborated with TikTok on an exclusive seasonal theme song – “Kita Rockstar” which channels the distinctive style of the premium esports tournament. Starring Yazmin Aziz and KUNGFU HEIDI, the song encourages fans to adopt their own playstyle.
