Zepp Health Corporation, a notable player in the smart wearables and health technology market, is set to release its latest offering, the Amazfit Active Edge, on 22 December 2023.
Positioned as a rugged and stylish smartwatch, the Amazfit Active Edge is designed to cater to active urban users, particularly those engaged in extreme sports like skateboarding and BMX.
Professional skateboarder Haziq Ilham commented on the watch’s durability and its specific skateboarding sports mode, which allows users to track their performance metrics. The watch’s design, featuring a dual-color scheme and the option for customization with personal images, aims to appeal to a younger demographic that values self-expression.
The Amazfit Active Edge boasts a 1.32” HD AMOLED touchscreen with anti-fingerprint coating, a battery life that lasts up to 16 days, and a Multi-Global Navigation Satellite System for accurate urban mapping. It also includes the Zepp Coach, an AI-powered feature that provides personalized training guidance based on various health metrics.
The watch offers over 130 sports modes, with seven auto-detected, and is compatible with various fitness apps. It runs on the Zepp OS 2.0 and provides users with a range of app options.
Available in three dual-color options – Lava Black, Midnight Pulse, and Mint Green, each with a unique translucent strap – the Amazfit Active Edge is also water-resistant up to 10 ATM, making it suitable for water sports enthusiasts.
For parkour practitioners, the watch is designed to withstand the rigors of the sport while tracking vital health metrics and delivering smartphone notifications.
The Amazfit Active Edge will be available for purchase on Shopee and Lazada starting 22 December 2023, priced at RM599.00. The offer includes free earbuds, subject to availability.
