    FAIRY TAIL’s Developer Apologises For the Game’s Delay – Launch Date Pushed to June.

    KOEI TECMO America and their developing counterpart, GUST Studios, have announced that the release date of their upcoming JRPG based on the popular Manga/Anime with the same name, FAIRY TAIL, has been pushed to June.

    The game was supposed to come out on March 19 before today’s announcement pushed it to June 25, 2020, for PC via Steam, and June 26 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
    Speaking on the reason for the delay, Producer Keisuke Kikuchi said;

    “I am truly sorry for FAIRY TAIL’s delay, and the inconvenience caused to our fans, partners, and stakeholders who are looking forward to this title.

    Please allow us to take further time to polish the game to ensure it is as high quality as possible, so we can offer you a truly immersive experience.

    We will be working hard to enhance the magic effects, event scene effects, improving the game balance, and more! We will talk about the improvements in more detail in the coming months.

    This delay will allow us to ensure we provide you a much more satisfying game. Thank you for your understanding. – Keisuke Kikuchi ”

    So there it is everyone, 3 more months of waiting. The good thing is, it’s only 3 months. Bandai Namco Entertainment once pushed the release date of its Action RPG game, Code Vein, back by one full year before the game went on to sell 1million copies within 5 months from release!

    Now, all eyes are on KOEI’s FAIRY TAIL, to see if this “Magical” JRPG will indeed produce moments of Magic. For better or for worse, we can’t wait to play the game.
