The HUAWEI MateBook D15 is an affordable mid-tier laptop meant mainly for work, common use, and to a certain extent, gaming. And thanks to our friends at HUAWEI Malaysia, we’ve received one unit for a test drive session and we’ll begin it with this unboxing post.
Out of the Box
The laptop is smartly encased inside a regular-shaped box with a plastic holder attached at the top for easy carrying. Inside, two thick pieces of polyfoam hold the laptop in place, offering some protection against any impact or compression. But as a general word of caution, you should never drop your laptop or put anything heavy on it.
The content inside the box is quite straightforward, really. There is the D15 laptop itself along with its charging cable and power brick.
If you order it on HUAWEI’s online store the purchase also comes with a grey HUAWEI CD60 Backpack free gift worth RM 199, along with a free one-year extended warranty worth RM 75.
