Frontier Developments has announced the upcoming release of two new Hero DLCs for their game, Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin. Scheduled for release on December 11, these additions feature the characters Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear, from the Stormcast Eternals, and Gobsprakk, the Mouth of Mork, from the Orruk Kruleboyz faction.
These DLCs introduce new playable units to the game’s Skirmish, Multiplayer, and Single-Player Conquest Modes, each offering unique abilities. Players can substitute these characters for the Lord-Celestant or the Killaboss on Gnashtoof, respectively, altering their strategic approach to gameplay.
The Yndrasta, The Celestial Spear DLC showcases Yndrasta, a high-flying hero equipped with the legendary spear Thengevar, capable of disrupting enemies and rallying allies.
On the other hand, the Gobsprakk, The Mouth of Mork DLC brings the Kruleboyz their first aerial unit. Gobsprakk, a Swampcalla shaman, commands the battlefield from atop Killabeak, his Corpse-rippa Vulcha, bringing a new dynamic to combat.
These Hero DLCs are also included in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin – Ultimate Edition, priced at £64.99/$74.99/€74.99. They are available separately for £3.99/$4.99/€4.99 or as a bundle for £6.99/$8.99/€8.99. A copy of the base game is required to use these DLCs.
Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin is available for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
A physical edition, including both Hero DLCs, is slated for release on February 27, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
