Ever since the release of the Synth Riders, the most significant update that Kluge Interactive brings into the game is a brand new multiplayer mode with a redesign in the user interface. This update is now available for Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, and Steam VR.

If you have no idea what Synth Riders is, it’s an action rhythm VR game that includes dancing, music and working out where it features 32 songs of various genres and the support for custom songs (also on the Oculus Quest) and various modifiers and levels of difficulties. With the release of the game back in October 2019, the developer been working closely with the community and has been adding various features such as party mode while preparing for this major update.

From the multiplayer mode, players able to meet across all platforms together in the lobbies which connected via voice chat and competing with each other with the leaderboard while dancing through their favorite OST and custom songs. There are a few modifiers such as prismatic notes and sudden death to spice up the game.

Apart from that, there is also a significant improvement to the game UX and visual style where players will experience a newly redesigned menu and smoother, with quicker and more interaction when choosing the songs and browsing the music packs. In addition, players will get free songs, avatar customization and visual stage from this release.

“Synth Riders has continued to be developed in active conversation with our community, and we knew early on that we had to give them a way to play together, not only to compete but to have fun with each other. We are excited to be one of the first VR rhythm games with multiplayer support, it is a tribute to our community!“
