The Final Fantasy Legend collection is heading to the Switch with some brand new features

Square Enix will be bringing in yet another classic game out of their vault of RPGs. It was one of the most memorable series on the Gameboy and this time it will brought back on Nintendo’s latest console. Furthermore, this is also to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the SaGa series.

The COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND will include:

    • THE FINAL FANTASY LEGEND
    • FINAL FANTASY LEGEND II
    • FINAL FANTASY LEGEND III

In addition, the re-release will also include a few additional options to help new players to experience the series better. There will a character speed boost which is essentially a high-speed mode, an adjustable screen magnification as well as game screen back ground wallpapers.

There will also be a retro display mode to replicate the Gameboy experience.  There will also be a special anniversary song, 8 different in-game wallpapers and the choice to play with either Japanese or English text.

Another feature is the ability to play the games like how it used to be. Switch owners can detach the Joy-Con controllers and hold the console vertically to play the game using onscreen buttons. This is replicate the authentic Gameboy experience.

The COLLECTION of SaGa FINAL FANTASY LEGEND will be available digitally for the Nintendo Switch. At the moment, it is available on the Nintendo e-Shop for pre-purchase.
