Samsung Malaysia Electronics today announced that it is launching its next-generation Odyssey G9 curved gaming monitor in Malaysia. Unveil during CES 2020, the G9 will join its recently launched G7 in the Odyssey line-up.
The Odyssey series has a TÜV Rheinland Certification which recognized the Odyssey monitors with the industry’s best high performance 1000R Curved Display and Eye Comfort certificate. The Odyssey G9 is also the first monitor certified to support HRD10+, enabling it to deliver games and content in groundbreaking quality through a combination of Quantum dot technology and an HDR1000 panel.

The 49-inch has the world first Dual Quad High-Definition (DQHD; 5120 x 1400 resolution) with 1ms responds time and up to 240Hz refresh rate to deliver groundbreaking experience. This can be enhanced with the Odyssey G9 NVIDIA G-SYNC® Compatibility and Adaptive Sync on DP1.4. The G9 also comes with an Infinite Core Lighting which allows 52 different colours and five lighting effect options behind the display.
The Samsung Odyssey G9 will be available in white with the retail price at RM 6,199. To celebrate the launch in Malaysia, Samsung Malaysia Electronics will be offering a limited-time pre-order promotion. Starting from 29th June until 5th June 2020, customers who place a pre-order in Samsung Malaysia E-store will receive a complimentary gift of HW-T650 Soundbar (2020) worth RM1,499.
