Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Tier System Has Been Reverted Back after Fan Complaints

After lots of complaints from fans on Reddit to address the new Tier system, Treyarch has decided to revert back to the old Tier system in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 by releasing a new update that has been released.

For those that don’t know, players were able to earn content through the Tier Contraband system for 100 ranks or pay $100 (RM407.3) to unlock all 100 Tier and after unlocking them players were able to earn reserve crates per tier or by paying $1 (RM4.07). But that was changed after last week major update named “Operation Grand Heist“. Players were furious and Treyarch listened to it thus re-introducing the old system of letting players earn 1 reserve per Tier after reaching/paying and unlocking 100 Tiers. If you have already paid $100 (RM407.3) to unlock all 100 Tiers, rejoice because now you will be given free reserve cases based on the number of Tiers you’ve ranked up since 100 (ie. if you got to Tier 120, you’ll receive 20 reserve crates).

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Battle.Net.
