Marvel Super War : Vision Guide

Vision is a Marksman that can deal heavy burst damage from afar. He is one of the strongest heroes in the game currently with a very high pick/ban rate. In this guide, we will discuss his abilities, item builds and some crucial information.

    ABILITIES

Vision’s passive Computational Power allows him to walk through walls and move faster. It can be triggered either by using Density Manipulation or Solar Energy Beam (Ultimate) Skill.

His first skill, Density Manipulation grants you immunity from damage and control effects. The only drawback is you cannot use basic attacks within this period, but you can still use your skills.

    • This skill has a long cooldown, so makes sure you have it available when you roam around alone clearing lanes or before a team fight.
    • Stick close to walls in case you need to get away fast as activating the skill pushes you away from the closest wall and this can help you gain some extra distance from danger.

This next skill is a very effective harassing tool during the laning phase of the game. Solar Radiation is also an effective zoning tool because of its 50% slow effect and it lasts for 2 seconds.

    • Try to get off Solar Radiation as much as possible on heroes.
    • If it is not on cooldown, remember to cast it while escaping with Density Manipulation. A 50% slow will help make your escape a little easier.
    • Because of its instant cast and no energy cost, it is a good tool to use to slow enemies down or to harass. Even one hit from the spell can slow the enemy.
    • During the chaos of team fighting, placing Solar Radiation may go unnoticed and the damage that it can deal to a group of enemies is not to be underestimated.

Vision’s Ultimate, Solar Energy Beam, is unlocked from the start and delivers a devastating blow to enemies’ early or late game. As it levels up, it will gain more charges which you can use consecutively every 3 seconds.

    • Charging takes up to 1.5 seconds and will deal critical damage every time once fully charge.
    • It deals damage based on max% HP. This means that even tanks are not safe.
    • The beam actually creates a small AoE around the first enemy hero hit. During team fights when enemy heroes are clumped up together, it is possible to hit 2 or even 3 enemies with 1 beam.

If the beam connects to an enemy hero, Vision will enter Computational Power which will allow him to reposition through the wall. This version of Computational Power does not grant you damage or control immunity.

    TACTICS

    RECOMMENDED

One of the most used Tactic in the game. Helpful to help escape or engage an enemy. A must for almost every hero in the game.

First Aid Provides good sustained healing for you and your lane partner. It can be used to help give you extra health during team fights.

A good choice if you run into the enemy team with a lot of crowd control. Using Dispel when you are stunned, followed by Density Manipulation will almost guarantee your escape.

Paralyze can be a viable option for Vision as he is best played from range during team fights. This may expose him to Assassins or Fighters which will jump on his location to deal burst damage. Paralyze reduces speed and damage by 40% from an aggressive Assassin which can help turn around a 1v1 situation.

    DO NOT USE

The latest patch has changed how Leech works in how players receive gold from minions. Leech with Deadpool’s Shotgun used to give a good amount of sustained healing but with the changes, it is no longer recommended.

    ITEMS

    RECOMMENDED

Double Daggers gives a good amount of damage with the ability to ignore the armor of the enemy by a certain amount. This also applies to your skills so this makes your Solar Energy Beam stronger as you level up.

Hunting Greaves helps increase your attack speed. Vision’s Solar Energy Beam has a 100% critical chance when fully charged. With Twilight Blade’s passive, it will add an additional 10% True Damage on his beam. The other stats are also good for his basic attacks in the late game.

A good item to help in clearing enemy waves with additional Critical Chance.

The important item in late-game survivability. Healing plus a shield makes you a little hard to take down.

Another armor-piercing item to make your Solar Energy Beam hurt those pesky tanks.

An optional item which gives you burst damage every time you use an ability. It can be swapped with Gungnir.

    TIPS AND TRICKS

    Computational Power Wall Exit

It is one of your most important escape tool. Learning how it works while walking through a wall is important. Remember, you will also end up on the side you are facing unless it is too far. Here is a video example.

As you can see, you can plan wisely with escape or attacking situations by entering terrain and facing the desired direction you wish to come out from for a swift move.

    Computational Power Difference

Even though the passive for Computational Power applies to both Density Manipulation and Solar Energy Beam, there are differences between them. As highlighted above, Density Manipulation gives you damage and control immunity but Solar Energy Beam’s version does not. Not only that, it seems the movement speed bonus and duration is less if you trigger it from the Solar Energy Beam. Here is the video for comparison.

As demonstrated, there is a really big difference and I am not sure it is attended, a bug or a missing information somewhere.

    Solar Energy Beam Shotgun Escape

In case your Density Manipulation is on cooldown, there is another way to get a quick escape. Usually, you will be chased by a melee hero, just tap on Energy Solar Beam to fire without charging. It will be a point-blank shot and it will activate Computational Power to let you walk through walls. Here is a video to help demonstrate.

With the 3 stacks of Solar Energy Beam, you can go in and out of walls to shake off enemies.

    Solar Energy Beam Warning

Solar Energy Beam has a warning system that will inform your enemies that you have them in your sights. The warning system will trigger when you aim close to the enemy. To prevent this you can charge Solar Energy Beam by aiming it elsewhere until the skill is charged and then quickly reposition your sights directly onto an unsuspecting enemy. You can see an example in the video below.

By doing this, it delays the warning time while charging and give your enemies less time to react.

    Sniping Objectives

Using Energy Solar Beam, Vision can snipe try objectives like Surtur and Black Panther Spirit from the enemy. Hiding outside vision or in the bush, charge the beam at the opposite direction and then unleash it once fully charge. This requires a little practice in the timing but it is possible to do. Here are some areas which you can snipe from.

    Overview

Vision currently has a high pick/ban rate on rank. This is because of his abilities which give him a stable early game to farm for the late game unlike other Marksmen like Hawkeye or Rocket Raccoon. He also requires minimum babysitting from support and allows the support to help other lanes during early to late game. I would say he has an easy learning curve and with enough practice, players will be able to hit those sniping beams to hit enemy heroes.

Take note Vision is able to do solo top and middle lane. I would advise to stick to your role and have support. The early game is a little tougher if you solo.
