Square Enix has announced that their upcoming Marvel’s Avengers will also be arriving for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X when the console launches this end of the year. Marvel’s Avengers will maintain its launch date on 4th of September 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia.
Players who purchase the game on the current generation will be entitled to a free upgrade to the next generation. Whether it is PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5 or Xbox One to Xbox Series X. All save data will be carried forward and crossplay will be available, so PlayStation 4 will be able to play with PlayStation 5, and Xbox One with Xbox Series X.
In the PlayStation Blog post, the PlayStation 5 version of the game will have fast load times, better resolution and fidelity, improved texturing and armour destruction, ray tracing and many more. There will also be an option to choose between better graphics or better framerate in the High Frame Rate Mode.
Information on Xbox Series X, Stadia, and PC specific features will be announced on a later day.
Square Enix will announce more information about Marvel’s Avengers during the “War Table” live stream on 25th of June at 1:00 a.m. (GMT+8). It will be stream on their Official YouTube Channel.
