HBO recently announced that action-adventure survival horror video game The Last Of Us developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment will be turning into a series adaptation with both award-winning Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) teaming up with writer and creative director Neil Druckmann.

Based on the game that focuses on Joel, a smuggler tasked with escorting a teenage girl, Ellie, through the post-apocalyptic United States, filled with hostile people and mutating strain of Cordyceps fungus zombies. Unknowingly that Ellie is humanity’s last hope.
