Kandagawa Jet Girls races in for a Western release on PS4 and PC

We love the games coming out from XSeed Games and Marvelous. Their games will involve one major component and that is bunch of beautiful girls with an odd thematic choice of a genre.

Their latest title, Kandagawa Jet Girls is a jet racing game which features character design by Naruko Hanaharu. Set around near future Tokyo where jet racing is a huge sporting event. Unlike a normal jet racing, this on involves two pairs in a team –Jetters and Shooter. As the name implies, Jetters will be maneuvering the watercraft while the Shooter as the name implies, shoots with a water gun at rival teams.

They must wow spectators if they want to win whilst building up the boost meter through spectacular aerial stunts while dodging obstacles and evading enemy attacks. There will be 7 teams to choose with each of them have their own personal motivations and hopes in the race.

There will also be a premium DLC which consist of the shinobi girls from Senran Kagura coming into the game. Ryōbi and Ryōna have been included as part of the base game. Meanwhile, Asuka and Yum will be the first bunch from the Senran Kagura series to be released. There will be more charactres from the shinobi series joining in on the race in the near future.

The game features a single-player mode which has 64 episodes to play-through. The story itself is a lighthearted racing drama which is easy for anyone to dive into. Furthermore, there will also be an online mode where you can put your skills against other players in casual or ranked matches.

In addition, the game also features a plethora of customization options for every teams and their watercraft machine. Apart of aesthetics, the watercraft machine can be fine-tuned in performance to match your racing style.

On the retail side of things, the game will also come in special edition called Racing Hearts Edition which includes:-

    • Base Game
    • Two-disc soundtrack CD with 54 tracks on it
    • A 60 paged 5.5’ x 7.3 softcover art book

All of these will be housed in a special box with an exclusive art designed by Naruko himself.

Kandagawa Jet Girls will be released this coming summer. There will be a ‘Day 1’ edition with a MRSP of $59.99 (RM260). There will also be a standalone version that goes for $49.99 (RM218) and will be available digitally. The game will be available on PS4 and Steam

For further information, make a stop at their Facebook, Twitter, Instragram and Twitch. There will also be a Discord server for further discussions on the game itself.
