Helheim Hassle’s demo now available for PC and Nintendo Switch

Developers over at Perfectly Paranormal have released a demo of their upcoming limb defiling, body desecrating puzzle-platformer adventure – Helheim Hassle. The demo is now playable for the PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch via the eShop, while the full release will see it coming for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Check out the trailer below:

A comedic yet macabre narrative game, Helheim Hassle shares the same universe as previous hit Manual Samuel, that is as much about friendship as it is about body parts. Players control a character named Bjørn, a pacifist Viking who hates the idea of dying and going to Valhalla (who then ends up dying and getting taken to Valhalla) as he seeks to negotiate his way out while helping the mysterious Pesto on a quest to retrieve a certain magical item… In return, Pesto will try to grant Bjørn a permanent residence in Helheim – what a hassle!

This demo is a preview of the madness you might come to see in Helheim Hassle. Witness the mood of the world, meet some main characters, deal with a few goblins, and dip your toes in some Puzzles. But don’t detach your toes yet, that comes in the full version:

    • 70 quests, spanning over 14 levels
    • 90+ puzzles to crack!
    • 80+ interactable characters
    • 3,700 lines of spoken dialogue performed by 24 professional actors

Helheim Hassle’s full release will be coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on August 18th, while the Playstation 4’s version will be coming a little later in 2020.
