First person shooter, DOOM Eternal coming to Switch with joy-con carnage on December 8th

Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software announced recently that The Switch version of DOOM Eternal will be setting up for launch on December 8th via digital download on Nintendo eShop.

Game details as shared on Nintendo and official website:

DOOM Eternal, the award-winning game and “one of the best first-person shooters ever” according to GameRevolution, is coming to Nintendo Switch. Developed by id Software and Panic Button, DOOM Eternal is the direct sequel to DOOM, winner of The Game Awards’ Best Action Game of 2016.

Hell’s armies have invaded Earth. Become the Slayer in an epic single-player campaign to conquer demons across dimensions and stop the final destruction of humanity. The only thing they fear…is you.

Takedown every demon that stands in your way with a massive arsenal of weapons, gear, and abilities. Immerse yourself further in the action with the Motion Aiming control option using the Switch’s gyroscopic abilities, allowing for motion controls in conjunction with the analog sticks for precise aiming.

Experience the critically acclaimed single-player campaign or duke it out online with two friends in 2v1 battles of skill versus cunning in BATTLE MODE at home or while on the move. No matter where the war to save the planet takes you, we can’t wait for Nintendo Switch owners to experience the thrilling action of DOOM Eternal this December.
