Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 5 will be available to play for free from 5 August to 9 August on Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on Windows PC. Players will have access to the entire game in solo and two-player co-op.
New players will be able to pre-load the game starting today, and will be able to access the Free Weekend during the following times per platform:
- PC via Ubisoft Store: August 5 at 9 p.m. (UTC+8)
- PC via Epic Games Store: August 6 at 1 a.m. (UTC+8)
- PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4: August 5 at 3.01 p.m. (UTC+8)
- Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One: August 5 at 3:01 p.m. (UTC+8)
Players who want to continue their fight against The Father in Far Cry 5 will get to keep their game progression and enjoy discounts up to 85% off on the game and Season Pass during the Free Weekend.
