Publisher and developer Total Mayhem Games is bringing us the third addition to the “We Were Here” series very soon, featuring new locations, new mechanics, and more hours of coop puzzle-solving than ever before. Check the trailer out below:
The true meaning of togetherness!
We Were Here Together continues the We Were Here series legacy of being all about cooperation. You won’t get anywhere without working together with your partner, whether they’re a friend, a family member, or an online matchup. Asymmetric puzzles give each partner different information, and challenge players to talk to each other and figure out exactly what information they have and how it might lead to a solution.
For the first time, players will be able to explore the Antarctic outdoors – starting from the cozy expedition base camp, before continuing to frozen caves and valleys, and finally returning to the sinister Castle Rock.
The game continues the communication-centred adventure in which you and a partner must solve puzzles on an urgent mission to save the expedition… and yourself! This time, expect even more puzzles and discover the story behind the Antarctic expedition. More than 2,000,000 people have played We Were Here and the sequel We Were Here Too since they were released, on PC and Xbox One.
Features of this new game include :
• Explore together – In a first for the series, you can explore outside areas and the base camp side by side! Choose who handles different parts of puzzles, and switch around if you get stuck
• Brainteasing cooperative puzzles – Every puzzle requires you to work together with your partner!
• Return to Castle Rock – discover more of the We Were Here backstory as you re-enter the sinister citadel. Once inside, you’ll be split up again – and your partnership truly tested
• Atmospheric exploration – Where did Castle Rock come from? What is your Antarctic expedition here for? There are clues for those who pay attention in the detailed environments
